Details:
Rescoset MD TR is an alumina–silica, air-setting refractory bonding mortar supplied as a wet, ready-to-use mix for installing refractory linings, with a maximum recommended service temperature of 2800°F (1540°C).
Applications:
- Steel: Bonding and sealing joints between refractory bricks/shapes in high-temperature steelmaking and reheating equipment.
- Incineration: Laying and repairing refractory linings in waste incinerators and crematoriums where chemical/thermal cycling is present.
- Power generation: Setting and maintaining refractory linings in industrial boilers and related hot-gas path components.
- Refractory installation & maintenance: Trowel-applied bonding mortar for refractory masonry assembly, joint filling, and localized refractory repairs.
