METHOCEL J 75 MS-N by Dow is a surface-treated hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) cellulose ether used as a high-viscosity, cold-water-dispersible rheology modifier. It was developed for ready-mix aqueous systems and is designed for delayed solubility so it disperses easily before building viscosity.
Applications:
- Construction: Used in tape joint compounds, tile adhesives, and other ready-mix systems to provide thickening, water retention, workability, and suspension stability.
